Hi there,

I've been a lover of Minis for as long as I remember, and I insisted on having a Mini Mk1 as my first car. I bought my '66 Austin Mini 1000 Mk1 in 2003 and then rebuilt it entirely in 2004. While this was happening, I stumbled upon a '74 Mini 1100 De Luxe which I bought for almost nothing, and I drove it for over a year as my daily. I sold it when the Mk1's rebuild was complete.

I need to sort out a few things on my Mk1 so I can drive it more often again. This will be done shortly.

I'm a massive petrolhead and a photographer by profession and have owned my fair share of Alfas, starting with a 145 2.0 Quadrifoglio, then a modern GTV 3.0 V6, then a 147 2.0 TS. I also had an old Alfetta 159i as a track day car for a few years and bought a project Alfa Romeo GT Junior with the intent of racing it, but before I could complete the project someone offered me double what I paid for the car so I sold it and bought a Toyota Conquest race car instead. I currently race the Conquest in endurance races and plan to race in the 111 Series next year as well.
