1380 Clubman
Quietly making progress on this car as well - the engine is back in. What a fight! Unfortunately the output shaft seals on the gearbox now need to be replaced. Few things that need to be sorted out still in terms of wiring etc.

Making a little more progress on this car. Wiring loom has been repaired in a few sections and then completely retaped. Looks a fair bit better now. Front lights are now in with all new gaskets - the headlights and indicator lenses are temporary for now. New items will be fitted at a later date. The glass is now also in. The windscreens just need the locking strip fitted now, but need to purchase the tool first. The passenger door also needs to go back to the panel shop to sort out a crack that wasn't repaired. The passenger quarter window also needs to be replaced at some stage.

But so far, it's looking more like a car now. Can't wait to get it done and start enjoying it again.

Visually, not too much has changed, apart from the locking strip on the front windscreen now having been installed. The rear screen got most of the locking strip installed before the tool broke . . . No point having a picture of that. The passenger door came back from the panel shop. The paint match is surprisingly good too. Got that fitted up and then installed the glass. The interior is now sealed!

A big job that was being put off was to change the seals on the diff side covers. The ones that were in there were so old and hard they weren't sealing much. Having the right tools really made this a simple job, especially the pot joint removal tool. Well worth the investment. We were hoping to get the brakes sorted out as well, but time just wasn't on our side.
