Yes Jared, my initial idea was to polish the rocker cover but the casting was quite rough and it was almost like the alloy had small bubbles in it so I couldn't get it smooth. I then decided the crackle black would look better so that's the way I went. I'm waiting for an HRG engineering tag for it from the UK. I've seen what you've done with the Motortune one - very impressive indeed. Never looked that good when I had it.

The pictures are very flattering to the paintwork. In real life it is really poorly done but I have focused on sorting it out mechanically first. Bodywork will be one of the next things to receive attention.
