Dion's Mini

I've been busy with the Mini since the last update just have not taken time to update my build. After my last race in February I took a few months break from racing to sort out a few things on the mini.

Front wheel bearings were replaced and rear were cleaned and re-packed with grease. A new Outer CV joint, cooper S flywheel damper, straight cut primary gear, rear brake shoes, new tyres, rims and clutch. Some cosmetic changes were done as well.

Another upgrade, drill and tap the block and gearbox to accept larger 5/16 cap screws. This was done to try and avoid the ongoing problem on the gearbox to block gasket blowing out.




New rims with Dunlop R7 tyres




Old Dunlop D93's lasted well. Over two seasons!

Wanted a change from the black roof so I painted it blue, just did not look right so I decided on off white

Nose and arches repainted too










Made some brackets for the bullet mirrors
