Over heating

The smooth side of the fan faces the engine i.e. this side :

Check your thermostat, waterpump, timing, radiator and fueling. If your timing is out, it can cause the engine to overheat, as can the fuel mixture. If these are right, then consider changing your water pump to a MiniSpares Evo waterpump and fitting a new thermostat. Also consider flushing out the coolant system and having the radiator checked over by Silverton or the likes.
