Lots of info on google - basically block off all the tubes and areas where the air can come out, and swop the spindle seals around

Yep that's exactly it.

Simply put it's because of the pressure differential inside the carb vs outside and trying not to piss fuel out from all different holes where it shouldn't be coming from.

Bought it as a package deal so not sure just yet how much of it all I'm going to use:

Dellorto DRLA36h Carb (Got an extra carb housing with it) - I have less than no knowledge on how these carbs actually work
Toyota plenum (No idea what car it came from but was part of the deal) fits onto the carb.
Audi TT intercooler
Garett GT1549 turbo with AR of 0.48
