Not sure Jared, I like the ones on Wian's clubby but they may be a little too wide. They must curl under the rear bumper, I'm not a fan of spats that stop at the body seam.

Not much to the interior yet Vinay. No door cards, dash is stripped etc. Will only get to completing the interior after paint.

The original colour is Poly Tan but I like French Blue (think its called that, see sample pic) with a white roof.

This car looks epic. If I where ever to do a MK1/11, it WILL look like this.
I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

^^ That's a very nice colour combination for a mini. I quite like the larger steelies as well. Those Japanese really do have a great sense of style with their minis. Especially the whole mk1 replica look.

Have to agree with Vinay here. Those Japs know how to make a replica mk1 out of any model of mini. That blue mk3/4 at first glance is a very convincing mk1 until you look for the external hinges and the shape of the door.

Amazing how much a bumper and a set of stripes can changethe look of a car.

I need to build me a pit in my garage like that too.

Some of you know I have been rebuilding a set of clocks for my '78 GTS project. I have 2 near complete sets and one missing rev counter.
All three have missing/broken clips etc. missing bulbs and damaged PCB's.
I have stripped, cleaned, repaired, replaced all the glass and reassembled one set and had it hooked up last night to test.
I'm chuffed.. it all works Big Grin
