Just acquired a Rebel 1983 Clubman  , running but tired.
Vision is to restore but with an outcome suitable for classic rallies and regularity runs perhaps a hill climb.

Want to move to 12" wheels or even 13". Also want to fit discs up front. What advice.? which wheels?
Some golf based upgrade for discs seem to require only 13" wheels. Is that true?

Will bigger wheels require mods to the bodywork?

Personally taking the rarity of a Rebel into account I'd restore it back to original as there weren't many made and even less that have survived

Regarding the use of 13" wheels, in some instances you'd have to trim the front edge of the front wheel arch for clearance when turning.

Welcome to the forum. I'd love to see some pictures of your Mini Rebel. Original Rebels are quite rare, and it'd be cool to see it.

You can stick with 10" wheels if you use 7.5" Cooper S discs and calipers. Alternatively, if you need more braking power, you can fit 4 pot calipers.
