        Just bought this beauty but as you can see from the pictures it runs with a downdraught Weber which means the air intake is where I would like to put a servo as although it has discs by today’s standards the breaking is pretty average . Fuel consumption and performance. Are very good so I am loath to change the carb ,any suggestions

HI guys. Just a quick question. What is the best position for a radio aerial? I want to put one on the roof should it go at the front r the rear. I fancy the front with one of those short raked jobbies. I need to decide where before I put the new headlining in.  Any ideas?

I own a 1987 Mini GTS which was started as a project car by my father and myself late in 1998 but which came to a sudden and grinding halt in late 2005 when my father passed away from an aneurysm. Currently the car is about 95% finished, but I have not been able to finish it up. As it stands only the twin carbs and intake manifold have to be fitted along with the radiator and gear linkages. The rest of the things like seats and door panels just need to be fitted as they have all already been reupholstered. The only missing parts at the moment are some of the carb return springs and some hoses. I have recently decided to make work of finishing up the car and would appreciate any help I can get on how to setup the twin carbs.

I am looking for "Mini" stickers for my Mini's wheels and a custom made rear view mirror, therefore 5 in total. There is always a stall at Piston Ring but they haven't had any stock for some time now.

Today is a good day. My Mini is about 98% finished. In November 2016 I got an '82 Mini for free as the owner needed to get rid of it because he did not have any space for it. And after much remanufacturing and lots of assistance from and frantic phone calls to Dez and Oom Koos, she is nearly there. All the major work has been done. Only some small things left to be done and insurance to be arranged and then she will be taken on the road. It has been an adventure and completely worth it.
She will be washed tomorrow and then I will post before and after photos.
