  Electronic fuel pump
Posted by: jimmyjamjar - 05-26-2018, 09:20 PM - Forum: Technical Queries / Questions - Classic Mini - No Replies

Hi!
I have discovered a 12 V Jidosha Kiki transistor fuel pump in one of my boxes of  car bits. Anyone know if it will work with my 1275 motor?

I am looking for two sets of standard 10 inch steel wheels that were originally fitted to the 1275E.

I need a total of ten rims, so I can have matching spare wheels.

I can be reached on 082 881 2930

  Mini Moke

I own a sound shop in Centurion (CELLSOUND), but over the last few years I have been more and more involved in the building and restoration of older vehicles.

The more recent ones include:
1970 Opel Rekord Coupe - bare metal respray and installation of 30 liter Opel straight six engine with fuel injection
1968 Ford Mustang - bare metal respray, extensive damage repair, new wheels interior, sound system.
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS two door hardtop - built from scratch with GM LQ9 6 liter engine.
1974 Beetle - built as birthday present for a customer's wife
1972 C10 Chevy - restored to original
1976 F100 Ford

I am currently in the process of building a couple of Mokes for a customer of mine (Couple = 2)

The cars have led a very hard life and consequently have suffered extensive damage to every panel.

Somebody has attempted a restoration of the cars and in the process have cut the bottom halves of the tubs away.
Long story short, I had no usable reference points to work from, so I decided to start from scratch.

I currently have one body about 50% completed and the other one about 70% completed.

I will post a thread of the build in the projects section.

Good Morning

this is my 1st mini I do already own a 68 merc and umpteen vespa and lambretta. very excited to get a mini been considering one for years. only think is I dont know if I got a good buy bad buy nice car okay car or even really what model it is. there seems to be so many variations on mini fron the 60s that i can not confirm especially the SA built ones seem to be different to UK built. but to the best of what I could find. it is a 1966ish Austin Mini 1000 with soft top sunroof.

excited to start playing

Gerard
