Caesar the 1275 E - Diary of minor changes
#81
So Jared has been bugging me to post some pictures of the other stuff I got, so here are some pics of the carpets.

Got myself a secondhand rod change selector mechanism to refurbish too.

And here are the second set of GTS clocks I mentioned in a previous post. They are in stunning shape and look practically perfect.

Oh and today we had an epic mini meet and run around table mountain.

First time we've had a group photo of all the people who came on the run. Cool idea I think Smile

Gordon has/had a few complete sets of carpets. We checked the colour and it is very similar to the grey carpets in the car, so we figured a set of original carpets would be cooler than the redone ones in the car.

So I got some spares to fix another bodge on the car. This time the clutch arm. The release bearing was on its way out, so got that too. Now to determine if a knob like myself can tackle this job Tongue

Yes, It's not really hard.
You can get the clutch cover off of the motor without removing it - just need some careful maneuvering.
I'm only here to LOL and +1

Lovely shots, great cars and the dog gets a day out as well !

The carpet should clean up well. If any parts are faded a dye can be used.

Thanks Andrew. It's so nice that he brought the dogs on the run and they got to have a good time too Smile

I don't have access to a wet vacuum cleaner, so I'll try with a brush, sponge and some soap and hopefully that'll do the trick.
