Mini Goals for 2017
#1
So the forum has been rather quiet lately.

Hope you've all had a good festive season and are all ready for the new year.

If today is your first day back at work, welcome.

So what are your mini goals for 2017?
I'm not referring to the small goals you've set for yourself but rather to the babies we have that keep us greasy on the weekends and broke after payday. minifront miniback

Getting to the bottom of the "total lack of electrical power" on my 67 Ratty and once she's running again. Using her once a week to work and back at the very least.

Happy happy.

I hope to have my GTS running by April.

Finishing up two client cars just now. Hope to get my white car running again.
Selling two project cars.

Till April then we will see.
Own some minis, break them, fix them, improve them, test them to the limit....

You obviously don't work far from home?

Does that mean we going to be able to turn the key at some point this year and hear the sweet exhaust note?

What's left Vinay? Twins and?

Sounds like you've got big plans Phil. A lot to get through by April. Interested to see you GTS running again.

Twin carbs, brakes, booster bracket, booster, cylinder head and GTS clocks. Then the rest of the random items can begin - pod speaker, radio, heater and piping... Yeah, I know I'm being ambitious. Especially given my limited time and lack of talent Tongue

So update: Got the the middle (not quite the bottom) of the dead mini syndrome. The car was dead dead dead. Like NOTHING worked when the key was turned. Battery is 622 and is less than 2 months old. Take the battery back to battery cabin. Its flat. Like 3V. They trickle charge it overnight. Test it. Test it. Perfect condition. Pu it back in the ratty... Vroooom. Starts first swing. So its not battery. And its not a loose something-or-another. Likely the alternator not charging. Whats the easiest way to test this?
