Finally found another GTS, full rebuild required but main thing is motor is mostly complete and apparently recently overhauled, the body is quite straight and seems quite solid, and papers and tags are all there with licence just a year behind.

il be spending the next week or so determining whats missing and then decide whats my plans for it, 2 options being , sell it on or rebuild back to original spec.

GTS is probably my favorite mini after Cooper S so im glad to have found another one so soon which so much of original bits and papers.

Hi guys. a friend of mine has a 1275e that is having spark issues.  no spark getting to the leads.

I have not seen the car as yet but when asked he says if he pulls off the Dizzy cap and tries to start the car the rotor spins very slowly. I am reluctant to just go out and buy a new one without checking it myself.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what would cause this and what we could do to try fix it?

Been in and around minis for most of my life.
Been known to stir the pot and dont mind having to lick the spoon. 
Have been known to fettle with minis and change the spark plug leads to produce 100hp minis. also been known to blow a few up trying to make 101hp.

I just had a client contact me and ask if I can do an engine swap for him. he says he has an old Austin mini and wants to put a Ford 1.3 rocam motor in. I have searched the Internet and I see many eengine swaps but none of the rocam.

Has anyone ever done this before?

Hi guy my brother and I just bought what I believe is a 1968 mk1 mini clubman estate. With Aussie doors. Idea is to get her on road running driving. Have fun the strip paint and restore. Mechanicals look good. Body needs attention. Seams have been covered on front end. Going to need seals and original dash.

My 1968 Panel Van Shell is up for sale.

Still has the original pressed grille.
Comes with 12 inch wheels and tyres
8.4 inch disc brakes.
All the windows and front windscreen.
Rear lights still in good condition.
Van is scraped and I have all the paper work and original tags.
There will also be some other spares included, like a set of Van den Plas Front seats, 1275 engine block and head, seat belt reals, Centre speedo X2....ect
