i need some info on the up garde of mini brakes to use golf parts need the size of the new back plate to fit callipers on or is possible to buy it and new bake pipes with fitting to fit brake system.

all help will be appriciated car stand with now brakes this ideal to change to discs.

Passed by a scrapyard just outside Cullinan on the weekend and saw the panelvan standing there. Stopped to see if its for sale and yes it is.
The shell is not too bad, except the footwells are, well, like they normally are. The 12HEH motor has the plugs and rocker cover removed, so I guess it wont be much use. Wooden 3 spoke steering wheel - cool. Sliding windows. Lots of missing bits in the engine bay eg. master cylinders, wiper motor, etc. No papers. Didn't get more pictures as started talking to the guy. Wants 10k incl. another motor without head. (I think the bits are  lying in the back) Made an offer which he didn't accept. Said he would rather put it in his yard and grow plants in it - twit.

Hey guys,

Just started taking a look at some mini's around town, Durban, not really much here that hasn't got some decent rust on them, well not for sale anyway. Seems like most decent cars are in JHB, some CT even. Anybody know of a bullnose going in Durban then I'd love to know.

Looking forward to owning one of these little guys, its been a long time coming so hoping to come out with a good first buy.
