So I'm currently in the market to buy me a 1275 bullnose. I will then restore (or attempt to restore) it. It will be the clichè red, white roof, white stripes on the bonnet, 4 spotlights, and 13" rover mini mags.

I'm busy with a 1972/1980 model. (Not 100% sure about the model).

I.t.o fuel, surely these old engines must still use LEADED/LRP fuel?
The engine seems to be original.

Or must the head be done to make the change to unleaded fuel?

I'm looking for a service kit for my Mini 1000's SU HS4 carb. It is completely stuffed - at the moment adjusting it has no effect whatsoever. Big balls of black smoke just bellow out the exhaust.

Or alternatively another decent carb would also be considered?
