Howzit guy. was just wondering if I would be able to get lower profile tyres if I had to widen 
a set of 12" gts rims.
The reason I want this is to have the comfort of the 10" ride with the stance of the 13" rims.
was hoping to get some bubble tyres but I know those are impossible to find.

I have lost most of my build thread on the old mini forum, but I've decided to start again.

huge RAVE for pam and sean from supreme classic parts went through to see sean on saturday just to have a chat and learn some stuff about minis and to see what i could get from them and all i can say is THANK YOU for taking the time and helping me out thought ill be there for 15 20 mins but was there like an hour or more

would definitly reccomend their services to anyone with a classic mini be it parts or just advice

So what happened to your mini over the weekend?

Sponge bath, oil change or one step closer to being finished?

My pallet with wheels got an upgrade to handle the weight much better. Shouldn't have another hiccup when trying to move the motor around, in theory at least.

Where can have my mini assesed for insurance?

Hi guys,

Hoping someone with a bit more knowledge on this can give me some insight.

The battery on my mini started draining flat in between weekend drives (so 5-7 days) a few weeks ago, something it had never done before.

I checked that it was being charged correctly and that alternator was working, all good there.

had the battery tested and there was a weak cell so replaced it with a brand new Willard.

Thought I had it solved, but same problem.

So far I have checked that there isn't anything obvious draining the battery and now running out of ideas.

is it possible that a defective relay could cause this? looks to me like the relay for the hooter (and wipers?) is not working because fuses are not blown and hooter/wipers have stopped working but not sure I see how that would drain the battery if the  hooter/wipers aren't operating?

Another option that Google suggests is that the main positive cable from the battery to the solenoid is earthing on the body from wear and tear somewhere (often in the bend up into the engine bay apparently) in my mind that would cause a dead short and heat/sparks though...will check that tonight too for the record.

Any other tips on what to check?
