Volunteers
We always have a need for volunteers to help out over the weekend. It is hard work, but a lot of good fun too!
General Info - ENTRY FEE - R30 per person, with children under 12 free.
- PUBLIC PARKING is available only at Timour Hall Primary School on Gabriel Rd. Visitors are encouraged to park their vehicles there and walk down Timour Hall Rd to the venue.
- There will be no public parking at the venue.
- The show is open to the public officially from 10am - 4pm each day.
- There are no disabled facilities on-site.
- There is limited Halaal & no Kosher catering on-site.
- None of the vehicles from the Saturday display will be here for the Sunday display.
- Members of the public are welcome to donate to our Charity. Simply ask any of our ticket sales assistants for help.
- The venue is at the bottom of Timour Hall Rd, off of Gabriel Rd in Plumstead. For maps, please see the venue website at www.timourhall.com

SAMCA RUN TO THE VAAL 2016
This annual MG Car Club initiative is again upon us and all Marque Car Clubs
(SAMCA) have been invited to come along and enjoy the day at the
SYLVIAVALE HERITAGE MUSEUM
With every visit more developments at the Museum may be appreciated.
Look out for:
•
A fully equipped and working Blacksmith Shop. The forges will be burning and
some lucky visitors may try their hand at smithing
•
New Outdoor Oven will be fired up ready for baking genuine home-baked
breads
•
New displays in Museum Hall No.2 to admire
•
Genuine Museum home-grown grape juice may be ready for sale
Other attractions are working steam engines, Museum projects in progress, raffle
tickets on sale and the Village & Country Market.
The Tea Room will cater for light meals comprising boerewors rolls, hamburgers, tea,
coffee and cake. The Cock & Bull Pub serves fantastic craft beers and other
beverages. The Courtyard seats over two hundred folks and live entertainment will
be presented.
A donation may be made at the entrance gate, tickets for which qualify for lucky
draws.
Classic Cars will be parked in orderly fashion in the inner precinct and in the public
parking in the outer precinct. Modern vehicles park on an adjacent property.
Don’t forget your cameras.

our kick off event for 2016 will be towards the end of January, please guys come up with some ideas for events for the year, as discussed in the year end run, i would like everyones involvement.

I am new to the Mini setup, bought my first mini to rebuild this month. I am from a very hot Kathu in the Northern Cape , far from all the nice chrome stuff . I have lots of questions regarding the mini rebuild en mods...but will post in the required sections. Good day for all you okes...
