I have 5 X 10 " steel tyre rims . Four still have tyres on them but they have been outside for a few years so they are no good R200 for the lot . For collection in Cape Town.

I have a 1275 E engine , engine part is ok but gearbox needs attention, I suspect its bearings that have packed up. No carb , starter , alternator or radiator. Going for collection in Cape Town. R500

After tons of searching, I've managed to find this 1964 Austin Mini Pickup, a rust bucket, I know, but seems quite original mechanically   with correct engine and chassis no.  Good advice at this stage is the most important in this project.  Looking forward to much wisdom from here........ and NO, the tail lights are not for sale

1275 GTS Motor with Rebuilt single hs4 Carburettor,
Smiths 3 cluster gauges, reconditioned
Brand new imported rubbers and weather strips ( windows, windscreens, light rubbers,etc.)
Front HiLo suspension,
Smash and Grab tint with 5 year warranty,
Stage 2 alarm
Seats coloured by ColourGlo,
Black Plastic Wheel Arches 
New Clutch Cylinders,
New suspension bits (ball joints,etc),
New brake drums all around
Brand New Dunlop R7's

Got Some good Rostyles,etc that can include in a deal

Most invoices of parts/work done have been kept, and will be made available to the buyer, a person who knows minis will know the cost involved

Looking at R50 000 neg or to swap for a Bakkie, staition wagen Mini Estate (panel van).  Will consider swaps for other cars  for similar value/condition... need a bigger vehicle to load for work

Hey guys just recently got a bullnose mini.

It's in rough shape and has no papers currently, the body panels don't look too bad and looks like minor surface rust the body itself is straight. It looks like it was the minis original color and I can't see any repair work done on it yet... I am getting the subframes and a 1100 motor with bonnet with it... I'll be restoring the mini over a long period as I want to take time in restoring it and getting the right parts for it.

First thing I want to do is to get the papers or get it cleared, after that I'll be sending it off for sandblasting to see what the shell looks like. From what I can see so far the left front floor panel has a bit of rust as well as the left outer sill.

I recently saw a few cool images of the UK Mini Special centre console. It looked so right for a Mini. 

I also heard that the VW mk1 Golf centre console would look good in a Mini. Anyone fitted one to their Mini or have any other cool designs for Mini centre consoles?

Following on from the best driving roads thread, I figure it would be nice to know what people carry in their Minis when they've taken a road-trip. Also saw a picture on Facebook today with a Mini boot full of tools and spares and thought about how that compares to normal Mini boots.
